Just outside of Castelsardo there is a prehistoric house-fortress (nuraghe) called Paddaggiu which is close to the popular Elephant’s Rock.

This is a great place to take kids for pictures.

Not only does the rock formation look like a seated elephant it is part of ancient tombs called “Domus de Janas” which tanslates to House of Fairies in Sardianian.
